How to Register as a Donor

Only People with MS can register an expression of interest to become a brain donor. Once registered we will send a Consent Kit for you to complete the registration process.

You may be considering donating to the MSRA Brain Bank, so we are preparing an information pack that will help you find out more about what it means to donate your tissue to research.

 

What if I don't have MS - Can I still donate my brain for MS research?

Yes. Understanding the changes that occur in tissue with a neurological disease must be compared to normal ‘control’ tissue. Unaffected spouse or family members can register with the ‘Using Our Brains’ donor program available on (02) 9351 2410 or through their website www.braindonors.org.
